The Beach House, The Other Nine Months

A furnished four-bedroom house available by the month once the summer crowd goes home. Two desks, laundry, a 6-car driveway, and an empty beach 1.5 blocks away.

Off-Season Stays

Furnished, Month to Month, and Already Set Up

The hard part of a short-term move is never the move. It’s finding a place that takes three months, waiting on furniture, hunting for parking, and working from a kitchen counter for a season. All of that is already handled here.

Travel Contracts

Thirteen weeks is our sweet spot. Furnished down to the coffee mugs, WiFi in every room, laundry off the kitchen, and a driveway that fits the whole crew. Sign, land, unpack once.

Project Crews

Four bedrooms, two full baths, and a kitchen built to cook for eight. Nobody splits a hotel bathroom or expenses another week of takeout. Six cars fit in the driveway without anyone getting blocked in.

Between Houses

Sold in the fall, closing in the spring. Instead of an extended-stay off the highway, your family gets a real house with a yard and a fire pit while the paperwork catches up.

A Winter at the Shore

Two dedicated desks — one upstairs, one on the porch. Real chairs, real WiFi, not a kitchen counter with a laptop. Take the 3pm meeting, then take the beach.

Not on that list? Tell us anyway. One family owns this house and reads the email — there’s nobody in the middle to say no on our behalf.

The Quiet Months

The Town Doesn’t Close. It Exhales.

After Labor Day the traffic on Ocean Avenue thins out, the badge booths come down, and the beach goes back to being a beach. You can walk the sand on a Tuesday in October with a coffee and count four other people. No badge. No lines. No 9am circling for a parking spot.

The fire pit earns its keep in the fall. So does the porch, once the heat breaks and the windows are worth opening. Downtown stays open all year — the restaurants and shops on Arnold Avenue don’t pack up after Labor Day — the Parkway is fifteen minutes out when you want a city, and the rest of the week is quiet in the way people pay a premium for in the summer.

Our summer families spend a week wishing they had more time here. You get nine months.

It’s All Here

Move In With a Suitcase

No furniture rental, no waiting on a mattress delivery, no first-week runs to Target for a can opener. The house has been outfitted for eight people for years.

In the House

  • Fully furnished — four bedrooms, two full baths, pillows and quilts in every room
  • Full kitchen with granite counters, gas stove, and everything you need to cook for eight
  • Washer and dryer in the hallway off the kitchen
  • Central A/C and heat throughout
  • Xfinity TV and WiFi — indoors, in the garage, and in the backyard
  • Tankless hot water heater, so nobody runs out

To Work From

  • Two dedicated workspaces — one upstairs, one on the enclosed porch
  • Real desks and real chairs, not a dining table you have to clear for dinner
  • WiFi that reaches the garage and the backyard
  • A quiet town from September on — no boardwalk crowds outside the window

Outside

  • 6-car private driveway — no permits, no meters, no hunting for a spot
  • Gas fire pit with seating, lit by October and worth it
  • Weber grill and an outdoor dining area
  • Garage lounge with ping pong and a TV
  • Private outdoor shower

How It Works

Simple Terms. Nobody in the Middle.

No platform, no service fee, no application portal. You email us, we talk, we write it down.

01

By the month, September through June

One month, three months, or the whole stretch. In September and June we can also do it by the week.

02

One number, everything in it

Send your dates and we’ll come back with a rate and a plain list of what it covers. No fee stack at signing.

03

A short, human lease

Deposit and a written agreement, direct with the owners. Company or carrier paying? We’ll work with their paperwork.

04

You have our actual number

Scott and Casey own this house and answer the phone. Something breaks in January, you text a person, not a ticket queue.

Off-Season Questions

The things people ask before they send us their dates.

What months are available?
September through June. Summer weeks (roughly late June through Labor Day) stay on the weekly vacation calendar — those are booked Saturday to Saturday through the main page.
What’s the minimum stay?
A month. In the shoulder months — September and June — we can also do it by the week. Tell us what you actually need and we’ll tell you straight whether it works.
Is it furnished?
Completely. Beds, couches, a full kitchen, two desks, TVs, washer and dryer. Bring your clothes and your groceries. Bath towels and bed sheets aren’t provided — bring your own, or ask us and we’ll sort it out for a longer stay.
What’s the rate, and what’s included in it?
It depends on the month and how long you’re staying — a February month and a June week aren’t the same thing. Send us your dates and we’ll come back with one number and a plain list of exactly what’s in it. No fee stack, no surprises at signing.
Can a company or insurance carrier be billed directly?
Yes. Tell us who’s paying and what they need from us, and we’ll sort the paperwork out with them directly. You shouldn’t have to be the middleman on your own housing.
What about pets?
Ask us. We’re a family, not a corporation — tell us about your dog and you’ll get a real answer, not a policy page.
Can I extend into the summer?
Sometimes, and it’s worth asking early. Summer weeks book far ahead, so the earlier you raise it, the better the odds we can hold something for you.
Is there anything to do here in February?
Honestly? Less than in July — that’s the point. The beach is empty and open all year, the town keeps its year-round restaurants along Arnold Ave, and you’re 15 minutes from the Parkway when you want more. Most off-season renters tell us the quiet is the amenity.
